Experience

June 2025 — February 2026Vidiv

Head of Product and Operations

  • Led the consolidation of Vidiv's core product after its strategic pivot: a voice-based AI conversational agent platform with sub-second latency.
  • Defined and implemented product development processes: feature specification with problem/solution framing, scope management, resource allocation and tracking metrics.
  • Established a profitability model for partners (3 partners managing ~20 clients), including hour tracking and profit margins, then transferred the process to the commercial team.
  • The platform went from 0 to 11,000 monthly minutes of use (north star metric).
  • Shipped 70+ features in 6 months with a 2-person team (designer and developer), maintaining weekly release cadence.
  • Built internal tools with vibe coding for agent generation.
  • Used vibe coding to create client applications, including a platform to manage agent knowledge bases that saved a churning client and later scaled as a platform feature.
  • Prioritized roadmap based on direct client and partner feedback, focusing on improving agent creation tools.

I worked side by side with Azur González as an implementer of AI voice agents, taking part directly in several projects and collaborating very closely day to day.

Azur is the kind of product leader that's hard to find: he combines judgment, empathy, business vision and a strong capacity for execution. He always had clarity about the product's direction and knew how to share the roadmap in simple terms, aligning team, clients and partners in the same direction.

He has a deep understanding of design, technology and this new AI-driven era, so conversations were always high-level and focused on real impact. He asks the right questions, prioritises what matters, and unblocks complex problems with calm and common sense.

He builds a lot of trust across stakeholders and, on top of that, has a sharp critical eye for design and user experience that raises the final quality of the product enormously.

I recommend him without hesitation for any product leadership role where design, technology and AI are central.

I've spent three years with Azur at Vidiv and I can say he's one of the most complete professionals I've worked with. We started as developer and designer, but watching him evolve into Head of Product and Operations felt natural: Azur is one of those people with a sharp, deep vision of what a digital product really is.

As a Full-stack developer, I deeply value his capacity for synthesis; he can diagnose complex problems and simplify them brilliantly. We formed a duo I'm very proud of, shipping features with enviable agility and consistency. On top of that, his sense of order and his empathy were key to keeping a healthy pace and avoiding burnout. He's an incredible professional and someone it's a pleasure to work with.

Daniel Tasende

I've had the luck of working with Azur during his time as a designer at Visual MS.

He's not only a designer with good aesthetic judgment — which he has — but someone who understands design as a tool for solving real business problems. He has the ability to bring ideas down to earth, prioritise, simplify and make things move forward.

Throughout this time he's worked across practically every front: brand, communication, marketing, product, processes… and in all of them he's brought clarity, method and efficiency. When a project got stuck or turned vague, his practical and organised approach helped unblock it and turn it into something executable and real.

On top of that, he's a curious person when it comes to design, culture and technology, always looking to learn and bring new tools and processes into his way of working.

Any company looking for someone solid, versatile and reliable in design will gain a lot from him.

Product Direction and Culture Program

This program trained me to lead product teams combining critical thinking with practical execution. I learned to make decisions under uncertainty, build product narratives connected to real people, and manage autonomous teams. The humanistic and multidisciplinary approach — integrating economics, anthropology and psychology — helped me develop my own criteria beyond prescriptive methodologies.

I met Azur on the Product Direction and Culture program at Instituto Tramontana, and I had the luck of working with him on our final project: MAPIA, a Mailchimp add-on that used AI to personalise each message based on the information you had about your contacts.

Azur is one of those people you want on your team. Not only because he's a great designer, but because he really understands product. He has the judgment to make decisions and the capacity to bring them to life.

His experience working at Vidiv means that when he talks about AI it's not just theory. He knows how to use it to solve real problems. That, combined with his eye for design and his product vision, makes him someone it's a pleasure to work with.
